Welcome to Creative Entertainment Development known as CrED. Do you have your CrED yet?
We have put together a unique program that introduces the entertainment industry to aspiring young people age 7-18. We help them express their creative talents that are hidden deep inside. CrED will challenge them and show them how to fuel their dreams.
With CrED we will teach the importance of giving back to their community while building character and integrity. We understand that good character is important in all things they will do in life. They will learn the benefit of supporting others while building a competitive edge to win.
All the world's a stage! CrED will help them take their career to another level and be Stage Ready!
In February 2015, Kathy traveled to Rwanda, Africa to work with Jacques Murigande aka Mighty Popo at his music school at Nyundo School of Arts and Music. While there Kathy taught Beginner Piano, Gospel Chords, Gospel Music History,(From Slavery to Andrae Crouch). Kathy also taught English speaking for vocals, Vocal Music and was the school Choir Director. Kathy and Johnny will return to Nyundo and present all her students with CrED medals for their accomplishment. The excitement continues to build half a world away!
In 2016 the inaugural launch of CrED in NYC will be an event not to be missed!
Creative Entertainment Development
I’m going to give support to Creative Entertainment Development because I believe in their vision and I believe in their mission. You know when an organization such as this is going to be helpful to young people in the arts - when it gets started. They need support from experienced performers such as myself. So if I can give that kind of support to help jumpstart this organization, inspire some children to seek a real career in the arts, well I think I’ve done my part. You know if you can only affect one life positively you are a success. In this particular case at least 10 lives have been affected positively so we are very happy for them and very proud.
